In recognition of Mr Auchi’s generous support to charity, the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) which dates back to the 18th century, making it one of the oldest medical societies in Europe has named its foyer the “Auchi Foyer”. The RSM is one of the largest providers of medical education and training in the UK and has the largest medical library in Europe; it acts as a vehicle forum for medical progression.At a private ceremony HRH Princess Michael of Kent unveiled the plaque and thanked Mr Auchi for his generous contributions to hospitals, medical research and charitable institutions in the UK and around the world.
